Seoul-based designer Jehee Sheen started his name-sake label with the vision of creating clean-cut attires from lightweight fabrics. After years spent at Giorgio Armani, Sheen began his label under inspirations from both European and Asian motifs. With stylistic aptitude seen throughout his work, Sheen’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection is minimalist, basic, and very much avant-garde. Marrying enticing mosaic designs with the use of leather, the Spring/Summer collection shows a number of blazers, bombers, and trench-coats paired with pleated shorts and well-fitted trousers. Elsewhere, the use of formative stripe and block design is further applied onto its sandal options. Using fashion as a means to represent his modern philosophy, Sheen delivers the collection with uncompromising confidence.
